Friends turned shadows, all went cold
Couldn’t hold me while I fold
My thoughts were fists, my nights were knives
Begged the past to bring me life
But she was a ghost in borrowed skin
Dragging me where light grows thin

I looked in the mirror and whispered “enough.”
You either drown...
Or rise.

So I stitched up the silence, thread by thread
Learned to walk without my dread
Found gold in rust, strength in the bends
No more bleeding for dead ends
New roots growing under my feet
New rhythm in my heartbeat
Not waiting on a call that never came
Not dancing for a love that plays a game
