Clara Maré

In her fictional story, Clara grows up in Salvador, Bahia, surrounded by Brazilian music. She has sung since childhood and first finds her place in lounge settings: an intimate voice, nylon-string guitar, gentle soul and rhythms with room to breathe.

The turning point comes on a trip to France. One evening at a festival, she discovers a warm house sound carried by funk basslines, disco loops and a collective energy that turns the crowd into a single movement. She recognises something familiar: the pulse, the percussion, the pleasure of answering the rhythm. She begins to imagine her Portuguese voice at the heart of this music.

Returning to her melodies, she decides to build an album where her Brazilian roots meet French touch. The project becomes ATÉ O SOL: a journey from sunset to dawn through samba-house, disco-funk and suspended moments. The album is still in preparation.

CORPO & CALMA - Anissa reveals the gentler side of the same world, created to accompany movement and breath. For Clara, dancing and slowing down belong to the same story.
