Music is my own space: a pastime, a passion, an outlet and a playground. A playground for sensations. A piece of music can move you, whatever its style or whoever wrote, composed or produced it.
When I was younger, I made remixes, did a little DJing and created electronic music. A computer, a MIDI keyboard, samples, and encounters with people such as Arnaud and Fabien gave me a taste for composition and music.
I grew up with Italo Disco, then Italo House and Eurodance. New wave and the sounds of the 1980s also deepened my passion for music. But it was house music that truly carried me away, gave me the strongest sensations and made me want to create music. I waited for each new Maxmix release and its Spanish remixing madness, spent time at the Number One DJ shop in Lyon, and listened to Radio Maxximum.
When you DJ and have to manage a dance floor, or when you compose using sounds and samples, you need a basic musical culture, curiosity, imagination - and above all, you need to listen. Listen to everything.
Today, I keep exploring simply for pleasure. When a sonic universe draws me in, I like to understand its codes: listen, research, observe, test, then create my own version. Écoute ça brings together the tracks born from that curiosity, to be shared freely - whether they find many ears or just a few.
And AI in all this? For me, it is a continuation of what I used to do with sequencers on my computer. Except that now, I can work with sounds and voices without needing to sample them elsewhere.
When I discovered Suno, I created a first project: My Nights: 1 song – 100 styles – 200 artists.
This project reinvents one and the same song through a wide variety of musical styles and interpretations, crossing genres and borders. The same song is explored in one hundred different styles: from the electric energy of rock to the deep emotion of R&B, from the grandeur of opera to the innovative rhythms of K-pop. With two hundred artists from around the world, every version tells its own story, shaped by the singular culture and personality of its performer.
