Following « Barcelona », « Sous Ma Peau » brings voice and desire into a deep-house framework. Middle Eastern–tinged percussion, touches of Spanish guitar and an electronic pulse shape a sensual track with a sense of travel. Its French touch, London, Detroit and Puerto Rico variations then paved the way for the forthcoming remix album « Sous ma peau Remix », and later for the One Beat project.

Intention
The aim was to start with a deep-house foundation and give it a more organic, sensual and cross-cultural texture: simple, repetitive lyrics, Middle Eastern percussion, hints of Spanish guitar and effects that could make the same motif travel. By exploring different cities and musical colours through this song, Laurent found the principle behind One Beat: keep a common core and let each place transform the rhythm, textures and atmosphere.
